Recognizing Custom Villages

Repurposed Structures generates villages across your world that look different from vanilla Minecraft villages. These structures feature unique architectural styles, custom building designs, and themed layouts that vary by biome.

How to Locate Them

Villages spawn naturally as you explore the Overworld. Look for clusters of buildings, farms, and NPCs in various biomes. The mod creates villages in diverse environments—from coastal settlements with docks to mountain villages with terraced farms.

Use the /locate village command to find the nearest village structure. Travel to the coordinates and explore the area. Repurposed Structures villages will have distinctive building patterns and layouts that differ from default Minecraft villages.

What to Look For

Custom villages include themed farms with Farmer's Delight crops, compost structures for composting, and buildings that match their biome's aesthetic. Coastal villages feature piers and beach houses, while mountain villages have different architectural styles suited to terrain.

If you're using the Farmer's Delight compatibility datapack, you'll see new crop varieties growing in farm fields instead of standard wheat and vegetables.
