What the Modular Centrifuge Does

The Modular Centrifuge processes combs and other bee-produced items into their component resources. Instead of a single output, it separates materials into multiple products, which is essential for getting the most out of your combs. You will need to craft the centrifuge and place it in your base near a power or fuel source if your modpack requires one.

Setting Up the Centrifuge

Place the Modular Centrifuge block and open its interface. Insert combs into the input slot. The centrifuge will process them over time and output the resulting materials into the output slots. Some recipes require specific comb types, so check your recipe viewer to see what each comb yields. If the centrifuge has multiple output slots, make sure they are not full, or processing will stall.

Automating Comb Processing

Once you have a steady supply of combs, automate the centrifuge by piping combs in from your hives and pulling outputs into chests or storage. Use hoppers, item pipes, or whatever logistics system your modpack provides. Keep the centrifuge running continuously by ensuring a constant comb supply. This turns your apiary into a passive resource farm, which is the core loop of Productive Bees.
