Match Bees to Resources

Each bee species in Productive Bees produces a specific resource, often tied to its name. Mining bees produce ores or minerals, while others produce dyes, wood, or magical materials. To get a particular resource, you need the bee that makes it. Check your recipe viewer or the mod's mob list to find which bee produces what, then work toward breeding or capturing that species.

Set Up Production Hives

Once you have the right bee, place it in a hive with access to its preferred flowers. The bee will slowly produce its resource as a comb or item. Different bees have different production times, and some require specific conditions such as a particular biome or block nearby. Keep the hive chunk loaded if you want production to continue while you are away.

Process and Store Output

Raw bee output often needs processing. Use the Modular Centrifuge to break combs into usable materials, or craft the items directly if the recipe allows. Store your resources in organized chests or a storage system so you can find them later. As your collection of bee species grows, you can produce a wide range of materials passively, reducing the need for manual mining or farming.
