Mekanism introduces several new ores and materials essential for crafting its advanced machinery.

Ore	Spawn Level	Primary Use
Osmium Ore	Below Y=60	Core material for all Mekanism machines and alloys.
Tin Ore	Y=0 to Y=60	Used for Basic Control Circuits and Bronze.
Copper Ore	Y=0 to Y=60	Used for cables and early-game generators.
Lead Ore	Deep Slate layers	Used for energy storage and radiation shielding.
Uranium Ore	Deep Slate layers	Fuel for Fission Reactors.
Fluorite Ore	Deep Slate layers	Used in the production of Hydrofluoric Acid and Fission Fuel.

Alloys: Created in the Metallurgic Infuser. Tiers include Infused (Redstone), Reinforced (Diamond), and Atomic (Obsidian).
Control Circuits: The "brains" of machines, tiered from Basic to Ultimate.
Steel: Produced by infusing Iron with Carbon (Coal/Charcoal) twice and smelting the resulting Steel Blend.
Refined Obsidian: A late-game material made by infusing Diamond-enriched Obsidian with Diamond dust in an Osmium Compressor.
