How to Charge Your Jetpack and Free Runners

Chargepad Setup

Craft a Chargepad and place it on top of a Basic Energy Cube that has stored energy. The pad draws from the cube and charges any chargeable item in your inventory when you stand on it. No cables are needed if the pad sits directly on the cube; otherwise connect them with a Basic Universal Cable.

Charging Armored Jetpack

Equip the Armored Jetpack and stand on the Chargepad. A charge indicator fills while you remain on the pad. When full, the jetpack provides sustained flight. Keep the Energy Cube topped up by feeding it from your generator or another cube so the pad always has power to give.

Charging Armored Free Runners

Armored Free Runners charge the same way. Stand on the Chargepad with the runners equipped and let the bar fill. Charged runners increase your movement speed and jump height. Because both items drain while in use, place a Chargepad near your main crafting area or beside your ore processing line so you can recharge without interrupting other tasks. A second Chargepad on a separate Energy Cube lets you charge two players or two gear sets at once.
