Mekanism Ore Processing Tiers

The hallmark of Mekanism is its ability to multiply ore yields through increasingly complex processing lines.

Tier 1: Doubling (2x)

• Machines: Enrichment Chamber -> Energized Smelter.
• Process: Raw Ore is processed into 2 Dusts, which are then smelted into 2 Ingots.

Tier 2: Tripling (3x)

• Machines: Electrolytic Separator (Oxygen) -> Purification Chamber -> Crusher -> Enrichment Chamber -> Energized Smelter.
• Process: Ore is treated with Oxygen to produce 3 Clumps, which are crushed into Dirty Dusts and then enriched.

Tier 3: Quadrupling (4x)

• Machines: Thermal Evaporation Plant (Brine) -> Electrolytic Separator (Chlorine) + Chemical Infuser (Hydrogen) -> Chemical Injection Chamber -> Purification Chamber line.
• Process: Ore is injected with Hydrogen Chloride gas to produce 4 Shards.

Tier 4: Quintupling (5x)

• Machines: Chemical Dissolution Chamber -> Chemical Washer -> Chemical Crystallizer -> Chemical Injection Chamber line.
• Process: Ore is dissolved in Sulfuric Acid to create Dirty Slurry, washed into Clean Slurry, and crystallized into 5 Crystals, which then follow the 4x processing path.
