Why do I only have 3 hearts when I start a new world?
Vigor Feast Reborn sets your starting health to three hearts by design. You must eat nutritious food and fill your active meal slots to gain bonus hearts and build up your maximum health pool.
How do I check how many hearts a food item gives?
Hover your cursor over any food item in your inventory to see its tooltip, which displays the health boost (in hearts) and how long the regeneration effect lasts.
Can I eat the same food twice in a row?
No—once you eat a food item, its timer becomes active and you cannot eat that same food type again until the timer expires. You must eat different foods to fill your three active meal slots.
What does rotten flesh do in this mod?
Eating rotten flesh triggers vomiting, which clears all your active food slots immediately. Use this when you need to make room for better meals or reset your nutrition.
