Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on smooth swapping?
The mod is active by default once installed, so item movement animations should already play when you shift-click or use hotbar swap keys. If nothing is animating, check that the mod is enabled in your mod loader and that no other inventory mod is overriding it.
Why are my items still teleporting instead of sliding?
Another inventory or animation mod is likely taking over the same slot movement, or the animation duration is set so low it looks instant. Try disabling conflicting inventory mods or raising the animation duration in the config.
Does smooth swapping work with shift click?
Yes, shift-clicking items between your inventory and containers is one of the main actions that triggers the smooth movement animation. The item visually travels from its old slot to the new one instead of appearing instantly.
Does it work with hotbar swap keys?
Yes, using the number keys or your hotbar swap keybinds to move items between the hotbar and inventory also animates smoothly. This applies to both directions of the swap.
