How do I turn the weather particles on or off?
The mod is client-side and applies automatically once installed, so there is no in-game toggle item. If you want to disable it, remove the mod from your mods folder or disable it in your mod loader's mod list.
Does Simple Weather Mod change how weather works on a server?
No, it only changes how rain and snow are rendered on your screen. The actual weather logic still runs on the server, so it works on vanilla servers and servers that don't have the mod installed.
Why does it still look like vanilla rain after I installed it?
Make sure the mod is actually loaded for the correct game version and that no other weather or particle mod is overriding it. Also check that you are in a biome or dimension where rain or snow actually occurs, since clear weather shows no particles.
Do other players need the mod for it to work?
No, it is a client-side visual mod, so only you need it installed. Other players will see whatever weather rendering their own client uses.
