Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on ore announcements?
The mod broadcasts ore discoveries automatically once installed—there's no activation step needed. If you're not seeing announcements, check your in-game config options to ensure the mod is enabled and that ore types aren't filtered out.
Can I choose which ores trigger announcements?
Yes, the mod is highly configurable through in-game settings. You can enable or disable announcements for specific ore types, so you could announce diamonds but not coal, for example.
Why am I getting spammed with ore announcements?
If you're mining frequently, announcements can pile up in chat. Use the config options to disable announcements for common ores like stone or dirt, or adjust the announcement frequency settings to reduce spam.
Do ore announcements show up in singleplayer?
Yes, the mod works in singleplayer worlds too, though announcements are mainly useful on servers where multiple players can see them. You can still use them to track your own progress or test configurations.
