Frequently asked questions

Do I need to do anything to start using this mod?
No setup required—the mod works automatically once installed. Simply break a tree trunk and its leaves will begin decaying rapidly without you needing to configure anything.
Why are some leaves still there after I cut down a tree?
The mod only decays leaves that belong to the tree type you just felled. If leaves from a different tree species are touching the trunk area, they'll remain intact because the mod identifies and preserves non-matching leaf types.
Can I make leaves decay faster or slower?
Yes, the mod includes configurable settings that let you adjust the decay speed to your preference. Check the mod's configuration file to modify how quickly leaves disappear after a trunk is broken.
Does this mod work with custom trees or modded wood blocks?
The mod uses an advanced leaf-checking algorithm to identify leaves connected to trunks, so it generally works with most tree types, but compatibility depends on how the modded trees are structured. Test with your specific mods to confirm.
