Do I need to do anything to make leaves fall, or does it just work?
The mod works automatically once installed—leaves will start falling from trees in all biomes without any setup needed. You can customize wind direction and fall speed later through the config file if you want to adjust the effect.
Why are leaves falling from trees that aren't oak or spruce?
Falling Leaves Plus detects all tree types in your world, including modded trees, and generates falling particles for them. If a modded tree doesn't have a custom particle defined, the mod assigns a default leaf texture, which you can override using a resource pack.
How do I make leaves fall faster or slower?
Open the mod's config file and adjust the fall speed setting to increase or decrease how quickly particles descend. You can also customize wind strength to make leaves drift more or less horizontally as they fall.
Can I change which direction the wind blows?
Yes, the config file includes a wind direction setting where you can specify the direction leaves swirl and drift. You can set it to a fixed direction or allow it to change dynamically during storms.
