Overview

The Fossils and Archeology Revival Mod (F/A) is an expansive addition to Minecraft that allows players to explore the ancient history of their world. The mod is divided into two primary gameplay branches:

Player in a large, lava-filled structure

  • Paleontology: The science of discovering fossils, extracting DNA, and using advanced machinery to clone and revive extinct creatures ranging from the tiny Compsognathus to the massive Brachiosaurus.
  • Archeology: The study of ancient civilizations, involving the discovery of relics, the restoration of artifacts, and a quest to defeat the ancient tyrant Anu in his Lair of Darkness.

The Archeology Workbench is crafted using a shaped crafting recipe and is the primary station for cleaning Bio Fossils into usable items like bones, Ancient Stone, and Amber Chunks.
How do I hatch a dinosaur egg?
Place a dinosaur Egg into a Culture Vat, which uses the fossil:culture_vat recipe type to incubate and produce a hatched result.
What does the Analyzer do?
The Analyzer is a block used to process fossils and related items; place the appropriate input inside to receive analyzed outputs.
How do I make Ancient Stone bricks and stairs?
Ancient Stone can be crafted into Ancient Stone Bricks, Slabs, Stairs, and Walls using crafting_shaped and stonecutting recipes.
