Frequently asked questions

Do I need to do anything to enable this mod or does it work automatically?
The mod works automatically once installed—Ancient Debris will start dropping Netherite Scraps instead of blocks without any configuration needed. If you want to customize behavior, check the mod's config file, though the default settings match vanilla mining mechanics.
How much more Netherite Scrap do I get with Fortune III compared to no enchantment?
Fortune III significantly increases your scrap drops from Ancient Debris, scaling the same way Fortune affects Diamond Ore in vanilla Minecraft. The exact multiplier depends on your mod version, but higher Fortune levels always yield more scraps per block.
Can I still get Ancient Debris blocks instead of scraps?
Yes—use a pickaxe with Silk Touch to mine Ancient Debris and it will drop as a block instead of scraps. This lets you collect blocks for building or transport them elsewhere before breaking them down.
Does Fortune work on Ancient Debris in the vanilla way or is it different?
This mod makes Ancient Debris behave like Diamond Ore, so Fortune works the same way—each level increases your chances of getting extra scraps. It's no longer a flat 1 scrap per block like vanilla.
