The mod adds several structures that encourage exploration:
- Dig Sites: Small tents found in various biomes containing chests,
sifters, and fossil blocks. - Academies: Large buildings filled with books,
analyzers, and 
culture vats. - Aztec Temples: Found in jungles; contain traps and gold
blocks. - Shipwrecks: Found underwater; contain Viking-themed loot.
- Volcano Biome: A rare biome composed of
Volcanic Rock and 
Volcanic Ash. It is the best place to find fossils and the Paleontologist Villager.
