Frequently asked questions

How do I make an Element Pipe?
Element Pipes are made through a crafting_shaped recipe using Drenched Iron Ingots and an Element Binder as the core component. They transport elements between holders, reservoirs, and machines in your network.
What does the Element Extractor do?
The Element Extractor pulls elements from an Element Source Breeder or reservoir into your pipe network. An Improved Element Extractor is a direct upgrade with the same role but higher throughput.
How do I get Drenched Iron Ingots?
Drenched Iron Ingots are produced via a crafting_shapeless recipe involving Drenched Iron Nuggets, or crafted from a Drenched Iron Block. They are the base material for pipes, chisels, saw blades, and many shrine upgrades.
What is the Element Infuser used for?
The Element Infuser is a crafting station block that consumes elements from your network to infuse items. It is used in recipes that require elemental input rather than a standard crafting table.
How do I grow crystals like Air Crystal or Fire Crystal?
Crystals are produced through the elementalcraft:crystallization recipe type, which requires a Gem Crystallizer and an Inert Crystal as the seed. Place the Inert Crystal in the crystallizer and supply the matching element to grow the crystal.
What does the Element Binder do?
The Element Binder is a crafting station block used in shaped recipes to assemble elemental components like pipes and holders. An Improved Element Binder is the upgraded variant for more advanced recipes.
How do I use an Element Source Breeder?
Place an Element Source Breeder Pedestal adjacent to the Element Source Breeder and insert an Element Source Seed (Air, Earth, Fire, or Water) to begin generating that element. The breeder then outputs the element into your pipe network.
What are Shrine Upgrades for?
Shrine Upgrades such as Acceleration, Capacity, Efficiency, Fortune, and Pickup attach to a Shrine to modify its behavior. For example, Fortune Shrine Upgrade increases drops, and Greater Fortune Shrine Upgrade is a stronger version of the same effect.
How do I make a Fire Furnace or Fire Blast Furnace?
Fire Furnace and Fire Blast Furnace are crafted blocks that use the Fire element to smelt or blast items. They function like vanilla furnaces but are powered by Fire element from your network rather than fuel.
What is the Ore Purifier used for?
The Ore Purifier is a processing block that refines ores using elements from your network. It is used to obtain higher yields or purified outputs compared to standard smelting.
What do the Air Mill blocks do?
Air Mill Grindstone, Air Mill Synthesizer, and Air Mill Wood Saw are Air-element processing blocks. Each performs a specific conversion task, such as grinding, synthesizing, or sawing, when supplied with Air element.
How do I store elements?
Use an Element Container, Element Holder, or Element Reservoir (Air, Earth, Fire, or Water) to store elements. Element Pipes and Element Valves connect these storage blocks to machines and extractors in your network.
