The Furnace is a block that players craft from any of the stone crafting materials. It can be lit or unlit, and it can be placed facing different directions.

A pickaxe is the tool for mining a Furnace, and the block drops itself when broken. Players also use it as an ingredient, since it appears in three other crafting recipes.
