Frequently asked questions

How do I start playing Exfil Craft Mod?
You'll spawn in your private safe home world. Talk to the Plot Trader NPC at your base to buy starter gear and maps, then use the trader to deploy into a raid dimension when you're ready.
What happens if I die during a raid?
You lose your entire inventory and all experience levels you had when you entered the raid. This is permanent, so prepare carefully before each run.
How do I extract and keep my loot?
Find the glowing obsidian extraction portal on the raid map and stand inside it to escape. Once you're back at your base, your loot is safe.
Can I expand my home base plot?
Yes, you can buy plot expansions from the Plot Trader using your XP levels. Each expansion makes your home area bigger so you have more space to build.
How do I play with friends in squads?
Form a squad with your friends and all equip raid compasses so you can see each other on the map during raids. You can then explore and fight together as a team.
What's the difference between the raid dimensions?
The Overworld is the main raid zone with moderate danger, the Nether is much deadlier but has better loot, and the End features the Ender Dragon with a special reward chest. The Marketplace is a safe zone for trading extra items.
What are air-drop events and how do they work?
A courier Ghast periodically delivers supply drops to the raid map. You can find and collect these supplies to help you during your run.
Do mobs attack me the same way as vanilla Minecraft?
No—in raid dimensions, mobs and pillagers fight each other instead of only targeting you, which creates dynamic combat situations and gives you tactical opportunities.
What should I do with extra loot I can't carry?
Visit the Marketplace, which is a safe zone where merchants buy your extra items. This lets you convert excess loot into currency without risking it in raids.
Can I prepare my inventory before entering a raid?
Yes, you should always prepare your gear and supplies at your home base before talking to the Plot Trader to deploy. This is your chance to pack the best equipment and plan your strategy.
