Hold any food item from Kaleidoscope Cookery in your hand and press U or right-click the air to trigger the eating animation. Your character will play a custom motion instead of the vanilla chewing action.
Can I stop an eating animation once it starts?
Yes, press left-click (attack) at any time during an active eating animation to cancel it instantly and return to normal gameplay.
Do eating animations work with food from other mods?
By default, only Kaleidoscope Cookery foods have built-in animations. You can add custom animations to items from other mods by creating resource packs with animation and sound data.
How do I add custom animations to items using resource packs?
