Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on borderless fullscreen in Minecraft?
Open Options, then Video Settings, and change the Fullscreen setting to the new Borderless option. The game will switch to a borderless fullscreen window immediately, and it will keep running when you click on another monitor.
Why does Minecraft still minimize when I click my second monitor?
You are probably still in regular Fullscreen mode rather than Borderless. Set Fullscreen to Borderless in Video Settings, or launch with the --borderless flag, and the window will stay visible when it loses focus.
How do I make Minecraft always start in borderless mode?
Add the --borderless startup flag to your launcher's game arguments or JVM arguments. The game will then launch directly into a borderless fullscreen window without you changing the setting each time.
Where is the cwb.json config file?
It sits in your Minecraft config folder alongside other mod configs. Open it with any text editor to change fullscreen types and other borderless options, then restart the game for changes to apply.
