How do I craft my first robot?
Each robot (Anole, Oxhauler, and Replete) has its own crafting recipe that requires various Create mod components and materials. Check the crafting recipe in your inventory or JEI/NEI to see the exact ingredients needed for the robot you want to build.
What fuel do robots use?
Robots run on coal, charcoal, or blaze cakes. Simply have the fuel in your inventory or nearby, and the robot will consume it automatically to stay powered.
How do I change my robot's metal skin?
Right-click your robot while holding an andesite, brass, or copper ingot to apply that metal as a cosmetic skin. For the Anole, you can also apply a wet sponge to give it an oxidized appearance.
Can I remove a robot's skin once I've applied it?
Yes, use a wrench to safely remove the cosmetic skin from your robot. This will drop the skin material so you can reuse it or apply a different one.
What does the Anole do?
The Anole is a small shoulder-mounted lizard that actively scares away spiders and insects, making it useful for passive mob control. It can be customized with andesite, brass, copper, or nerite skins.
How much can the Oxhauler carry?
The Oxhauler can hold six chests worth of items and includes a built-in crafting grid for convenience. You can also attach a mechanical plough or harvester to it for automated farming.
How do I set up the Oxhauler for farming?
Attach a mechanical plough or harvester to the Oxhauler, then guide it over farmland or crops. The Oxhauler will automatically use the attached tool to till soil or harvest crops as it moves.
What's the Replete used for?
The Replete is a heavy transport robot designed to carry up to 160 buckets of fluid. It can also automatically collect matching fluids from the surrounding area, making it ideal for large-scale fluid transport.
Do robots need constant attention or can they work on their own?
Robots are semi-autonomous and will perform their tasks (farming, fluid collection, mob deterrence) as long as they have fuel and are properly set up. However, you need to manually guide them to new locations or adjust their attachments.
Are there any compatibility issues with other Create add-ons?
Create Bionics is designed to work alongside other Create extensions, but conflicts can occur with mods that heavily modify Create's systems. If you experience issues, try updating all mods to their latest versions or check mod compatibility forums for known conflicts.
