Frequently asked questions

Do chiseled bookshelves need to be filled with books to power an enchantment table?
No, chiseled bookshelves power enchantment tables regardless of whether they contain books or are completely empty. The mod treats them the same way as regular bookshelves for enchantment purposes.
How far away can a chiseled bookshelf be from an enchantment table and still work?
Chiseled bookshelves follow the same range rules as regular bookshelves—they must be within a certain distance of the enchantment table to contribute their power. If your setup isn't working, try moving the bookshelves closer.
Can I mix regular bookshelves and chiseled bookshelves in the same enchantment setup?
Yes, both types of bookshelves work together and stack their enchantment power. You can use them interchangeably to reach maximum enchantment levels while keeping your setup looking how you want.
Why aren't my chiseled bookshelves powering the enchantment table?
Check that the bookshelves are within range of the enchantment table and that the mod is properly installed. If you've recently added the mod to an existing world, try placing new chiseled bookshelves rather than relying on ones placed before the mod was installed.
