Frequently asked questions

How do I tame a parrot in the first place?
Feed seeds (melon or pumpkin) to wild parrots until they become tamed—you'll see hearts appear and the parrot will follow you. Once tamed, the parrot is yours to summon with the goat horn.
Do I need a goat horn to use this mod?
Yes, you need a goat horn to summon your tamed parrots. The horn is used as a whistle to call them to your location.
How far away can my parrot be when I summon it?
The mod summons parrots from a reasonable distance around you, but parrots that wander too far may not respond to the horn call—keep them relatively nearby for reliable summoning.
Can I summon multiple parrots at once?
Yes, blowing the goat horn will summon all of your tamed parrots that are within range at the same time.
