Frequently asked questions

How do I start using this mod?
Build a Smoker (same recipe as vanilla) and place it down. Put raw food and fuel inside just like a regular furnace—the mod adds new items that only cook in Smokers, not regular Furnaces.
What's the difference between cooked and baked items?
Both are cooked in the Smoker, but the mod uses different names (like Baked Apple vs Cooked Carrot) to match vanilla naming conventions. They all cook the same way and have different uses in recipes.
Can I cook these new foods in a Furnace?
No, these items only cook in Smokers. If you try to use a Furnace, nothing will happen—you must use a Smoker to get the cooked variants.
What happens if I eat Cooked Spider Eye or Baked Poisonous Potato?
Cooked Spider Eye has a 50% chance to inflict Poison, and Baked Poisonous Potato has a 30% chance to inflict Poison. There's no guarantee you'll get poisoned each time you eat them.
