Frequently asked questions

How do I turn name tags back on for my friends?
You can re-enable name tags for specific players by adding them to a team using commands, then configuring that team's visibility settings. Use the team system to selectively show names for trusted players while keeping others hidden.
Why can I still see name tags above players?
Check that the data pack is enabled in your world settings and that you've restarted the server after installation. If name tags persist, verify no other data packs or mods are conflicting by temporarily disabling them.
Does this work if some players don't have the data pack installed?
Yes, this is a server-side data pack, so it works for all players on the server regardless of their client setup. Guests can join without installing anything extra.
