Overview
The Enhanced Portals mod provides a highly customizable and feature-rich portal system, moving beyond the basic functionality of vanilla obsidian portals. It enables the creation of wormholes that can transport players, mobs, animals, items, fluids, and even energy to any location, whether it's thousands of blocks away, in the Nether, the Twilight Forest, or any other dimension.
These portals can be linked together on a network or configured to dial specific destinations. Unlike standard portals, Enhanced Portals do not require a rectangular shape; they can be designed in any closed, flat area.
At its core, the mod involves manipulating subatomic particles to create stable harnesses for micro wormholes. This advanced technology requires a significant amount of power to both create and maintain the wormholes, with consequences if power is not supplied.
The mod is also known as Enhanced Portals 2 or Enhanced Portals 3 and was developed by Alz454.
