How to Deal with Venomite and Use Antidotes in Deep Aether

Recognizing Venomite Threats

Venomite is a hostile mob in Deep Aether that inflicts poison or a similar negative status effect. They are often found in Deep Aether biomes and may spawn alongside Venomite Bubbles, which are related environmental hazards. When a Venomite attacks, you will notice a status effect icon appear on your HUD. Without treatment, this can drain your health quickly, especially during combat or while mining.

Crafting and Using Antidotes

The primary counter is the Antidote, a consumable item that cures the Venomite's status effect. Craft Antidotes before venturing into Venomite-heavy areas. Keep several in your hotbar. If you are expecting prolonged exposure, craft the Enchanted Antidote, which offers a stronger or longer-lasting effect. To use an Antidote, simply right-click while holding it — the status effect is removed immediately. Pair Antidotes with decent armor and a shield to minimize damage. If you are farming Venomites for drops, build a safe area where you can retreat and reapply Antidotes as needed. Never explore Deep Aether caves without a stack of Antidotes on hand.
