Overview
Subterranean Switcheroo (often abbreviated as Subswitch) is an MCreator-based mod designed specifically for large modpacks where vanilla resources are in high demand. In many technical or magic-heavy packs, resources like Iron, Gold, and Lapis can become scarce due to the sheer volume of recipes requiring them. Subswitch addresses this by adding "Fusion Ores" that provide multiple resource types, sifting tools for processing common blocks, and surface-level plants for mining-free resource gathering.
The mod is a compilation of several smaller projects by the author, Lordepos (ArloTheEpic), including every feature of Placebo Effect and Obsidian Ore, and most features of Nicer Nether. It is built to be dropped into existing packs without requiring extensive recipe changes or world-generation modifications.
