Occultism Ritual Mechanics

Rituals are the core of the mod. They require a specific physical layout and a set of ingredients.

Components

• Golden Bowl: The centerpiece of every ritual. This is where the main ingredient (usually a Book of Binding) is placed.
• Sacrificial Bowls: Placed around the Golden Bowl to hold additional ingredients.
• Chalk: Used to draw Pentacles on the ground. There are four types: White, Golden, Purple, and Red.
• Ritual Satchel: A tool that stores chalk and can automatically draw pentacles if the player has the required materials.

The Ritual Process

1. Build the Pentacle: Use the Dictionary of Spirits to visualize the required chalk pattern.
2. Place Bowls: Position the Golden Bowl in the center and Sacrificial Bowls within the ritual area.
3. Add Ingredients: Place the secondary items into the Sacrificial Bowls.
4. Activate: Right-click the Golden Bowl with the primary catalyst (e.g., a Book of Binding or a specific spirit essence).
5. Sacrifice (Optional): Some high-tier rituals require killing a specific mob (like a Cow or Chicken) near the Golden Bowl during the process.
