Frequently asked questions

Why do my menus look different after installing this pack?
Deez FPS changes all standard game menus to a dark theme by default. This darker color scheme is easier on your eyes during long play sessions and is applied automatically when you activate the resource pack.
How do I know which item I'm holding in my hotbar?
The pack puts a bright orange box around whichever item slot you currently have selected, making it instantly visible which tool or block you're about to use.
What do the numbers at the bottom of my screen mean?
Those are slot numbers added to your hotbar by this pack, helping you quickly identify and remember which slot (1-9) contains each item without having to look closely.
Can I turn off the rainbow experience bar?
The rainbow bar is a core visual feature of this pack and cannot be toggled separately; however, you can create a custom version of the pack by editing the resource pack files if you prefer the vanilla green bar.
Why do my enchanted tools look orange instead of purple?
This pack replaces the standard purple glow on magical items with a bright orange shine as part of its visual refresh, giving enchanted gear a more cohesive look with the rest of the pack's orange accents.
Does this pack change how the game plays or just how it looks?
Deez FPS is purely visual—it only changes menus, item appearances, and UI elements, so your gameplay mechanics, crafting recipes, and survival difficulty remain completely unchanged.
Will this pack work with other resource packs?
Resource packs can conflict if they modify the same textures or files; you can stack packs in your resource pack folder, but packs loaded lower in the list will override those above them, so place Deez FPS last if you want its features to take priority.
Why are some of my items showing fixed pixels or lines?
This pack includes fixes for small visual bugs and broken pixels on standard Minecraft items, cleaning up inconsistencies in the default textures so everything looks neat and polished.
Does this pack affect my FPS or performance?
Resource packs like this one have minimal performance impact since they only change textures and UI elements; if you experience lag, it's likely due to other mods or settings rather than this pack alone.
What happens to the Elytra wings with this pack?
When you equip Elytra, the wings are painted bright orange to match the pack's color scheme, making them stand out visually while you're gliding through the sky.
