Pick up loose stones from the ground and use the knapping recipe to craft them together into sharp flakes and blades. These primitive stone tools are fragile but essential for harvesting wood, stone, and other early-game materials.
What do I do if I'm starving and thirsty at the start?
Hunt animals or gather berries and seeds from grass for food, and drink from water sources like rivers and lakes directly or by crafting containers. Cooking raw meat over a fire makes it more nutritious and safer to eat.
How do I build a charcoal pit?
Stack logs in a specific pattern (check your quest book for the exact layout), then cover the outside with dirt or sand and light it on fire. The pit will burn for a long time and produce charcoal, which you collect by breaking it apart once it cools.
Why can't I smelt copper in a regular furnace?
Terra Firma Rebirth 2 requires a Stone Furnace or Bloomery to process ores—vanilla furnaces don't work for this mod's custom smelting recipes. Build a Stone Furnace early on and fuel it with charcoal to start smelting copper and other metals.
