Frequently asked questions

How do I start brewing if I'm new to this mod?
Craft a water cauldron and place it down, then drop crops like sugarcane, wheat, or berries into it to ferment a base drink. Once fermentation completes, take the bottle out and you're ready to distill it for better quality.
What does the star rating mean and how do I get 5 stars?
The star rating reflects how well you timed your distillation—remove the bottle from the heat cauldron exactly when green particles appear for the highest rating. Higher star ratings unlock better status effects and special buffs when you drink.
Why aren't green particles showing up in my cauldron?
Make sure you have a heat source (like fire or lava) directly underneath the cauldron and that the fermented bottle is placed inside it. Green particles indicate peak distillation quality, so watch carefully and remove the bottle at that moment.
How long does it take to age a drink in a barrel?
Aging time varies by drink and barrel type, but it takes several in-game days for a base drink to transform into a rare aged variant. Check your specific barrel's tooltip or the mod guide to see the exact aging duration.
