How do I pick up a baby mob?
Crouch (sneak) and right-click on any baby mob to lift it into your arms. You'll see a first-person carrying animation, and the baby mob will stay with you until you release it.
Can I carry any baby animal or just wolves?
You can carry any small baby mob, but only baby wolves have the fetch and whistle features. Other baby animals can be picked up and held, but won't respond to those specific commands.
How do I play fetch with my baby wolf?
Hold a stick in your hand, then press your configured fetch key to throw it. Your baby wolf will chase after the stick and bring it back to you.
What's the difference between the whistle and the alternate call key?
The whistle key calls only the nearest baby wolf within a one-chunk radius around you. The alternate key summons all of your baby wolves at once, regardless of distance.
