How do I craft my first tablet?

Do tablets take up inventory space?

Can I use multiple tablets at the same time?
You can carry multiple tablets in your inventory and switch between them by holding different ones in your hand. However, you can only have one tablet active (in your hand) at a time.
Does the Auto Crafting Tablet work with modded items?
The Auto Crafting Tablet should work with any recipe that exists in your crafting system, including modded recipes, as long as the recipe is registered properly in the game.
Why isn't my Enchanting Tablet giving me level 30 enchantments?
Make sure you've added the required number of bookshelves to the tablet's bookshelf slot before attempting to enchant. The tablet needs to be fully configured before it will offer maximum-level enchantments.
