Opening the Config Screen
MiniHUD does not have a standalone keybind by default. Instead, its settings live inside the
Mod Menu (or the mod list screen on your loader). Open the pause menu, click Mods (or
Mod Menu), find MiniHUD in the list, and click its config button. From there you get a tree of toggles grouped by category — coordinates, biome, light level, FPS, entity info, and so on.
If you use a mod that adds a config keybind (many players bind one through the keybinds menu), you can jump straight in without pausing. Check Options → Controls → Key Binds and search for MiniHUD entries.
Toggling Info Types
Each line of the HUD is a separate toggle. Expand a category, flip the switch, and the overlay updates the moment you close the screen. Useful first toggles:
- Coordinates — shows your X/Y/Z and the chunk-relative position.
- Biome — current biome name, handy when hunting specific structures.
- Light level — block light and sky light at your feet, critical for mob-proofing.
- Facing / yaw — direction you are looking.
If the HUD is invisible, make sure the master MiniHUD enabled toggle is on and that you are not in a screen that hides overlays (some fullscreen menus suppress it).
