How do I start using Kinetic Frame Blueprint Mod?
Craft a Schematic Table and place it near where you want to build. Right-click it to open the menu, select a multiblock structure, add paper to create a blueprint item, then right-click with the blueprint to project the holographic guide into the world.
Why can't I see the holographic guide after placing my blueprint?
Make sure you're holding the blueprint in your off-hand (secondary hand slot). The hologram only displays when the blueprint is actively held there, not in your main hand.
What do the different colors mean in the holographic guide?
Green highlights show the correct block for that position when you're holding it. Red marks incorrectly placed blocks, and yellow highlights blocks that are facing the wrong direction.
Can I use this mod with other Immersive Engineering addons?
Yes, the mod automatically generates blueprints for any multiblock structure registered by compatible addons, so expansions that add new machines will work seamlessly.
Do I need a new blueprint every time I build the same machine?
No, blueprints are reusable. You can place the same blueprint multiple times to build identical structures without crafting new ones.
What happens if I place a block in the wrong orientation?
The holographic guide will highlight that block in yellow to show it's facing the wrong direction. Break it and replace it facing the correct way.
Can I move or delete a blueprint projection after placing it?
You can place a new blueprint in a different location, but the previous projection will remain until you move far away or reload. Plan your building area before placing the initial blueprint.
Does this mod work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, the holographic projections are client-side visual guides, so multiple players can see and build from the same blueprint without conflicts.
What if a machine from a mod expansion isn't showing up in my Schematic Table?
Make sure the addon mod is installed and loaded alongside Kinetic Frame Blueprint Mod. The blueprint list only includes structures that are properly registered by active mods.
Can I build without the holographic guide if I know the structure already?
Yes, the guide is optional—you can build any multiblock structure manually without a blueprint, but the holographic projection makes it much faster and prevents placement errors.
