The Core Idea

Item Scroller is a client-side inventory utility. It does not add new items, blocks, or recipes. Instead, it changes how you move existing items around in any inventory screen — chests, your inventory, crafting grids, furnaces, and other containers.

Normally, moving items means clicking and dragging stacks one at a time. Item Scroller replaces that with two faster methods: mouse-wheel scrolling and click-drag shortcuts.

Scrolling and Dragging

With scrolling, you hover over a slot and turn the mouse wheel. One direction moves a single item per notch; the other moves a whole stack per notch. This lets you transfer precise amounts or bulk quantities without opening a separate transfer screen.

With dragging, you hold the mouse button and sweep across multiple slots. Depending on which modifier key you hold, the mod either moves one item into each slot, a full stack into each slot, or spreads a stack evenly across all the slots you touched. This is what makes restocking rows of machines or emptying a full inventory fast.

Because it is purely client-side, it works on any server and in single-player, and it never changes what the game considers a valid recipe or item. It only speeds up the clicking.
