Filling a Crafting Grid Fast

Place your crafting table and open it. Instead of clicking each ingredient into each grid slot, hover over an ingredient in your inventory and scroll. The mod moves items into the crafting grid slots for you, filling the recipe shape as you scroll. For a recipe that needs one item per slot, scroll until every required slot is populated.

If the recipe needs multiple of the same item in a single slot (for example, a recipe requiring several of one ingredient stacked in one grid position), keep scrolling on that slot to add more.

Crafting Repeatedly

Once the grid is filled, take the output. With Item Scroller, you can scroll on the output slot to craft repeatedly as long as the grid keeps getting refilled from your inventory. This is the core of mass crafting: fill the grid once, then scroll the result slot to produce stack after stack without re-clicking ingredients.

For recipes where the grid empties after each craft, the mod pulls replacement ingredients from your inventory automatically as you scroll the output. Keep your inventory stocked with the raw materials before you start. If crafting stalls, you have run out of an ingredient — check your inventory, not the grid. This approach works for planks, sticks, torches, and any other recipe you need in bulk.
