How to Configure Item Scroller's Scroll and Drag Behavior

Finding the Options

Item Scroller is client-side, so its settings live in your mod config menu rather than in a server or world file. Open the config screen from the mod list or the in-game mod menu. The options are grouped around scrolling behavior and drag behavior, which are the two ways you interact with slots.

What to Adjust

Several settings control how scrolling moves items. You can change which scroll direction moves a single item versus a full stack, so if the default feels backwards, swap it. There is also a setting for how many items move per scroll notch, letting you tune between fine control and bulk movement.

For dragging, the config lets you assign which modifier key triggers each drag mode. The mod typically distinguishes between moving one item per slot, moving a full stack per slot, and spreading items evenly across the dragged slots. Set these to keys that do not conflict with your other mods or with vanilla controls like sprint or sneak.

After changing anything, test it in a chest before relying on it during real gameplay. Because the mod is client-side, your settings apply everywhere you play, including on servers, without needing the server to install anything.
