Pigments
Pigments are colored items that determine the color of your hex patterns. There are many variants, including
Black Pigment,
Blue Pigment,
Red Pigment, and pride-themed pigments like
Gay Pigment,
Bisexual Pigment, and
Asexual Pigment. To craft a pigment, you typically combine
Amethyst Dust with a dye of the corresponding color. Pigments are cosmetic — they change the appearance of your hexes but do not affect their function. You can switch pigments at any time by holding a different one.
Focuses
A
Focus is an item that modifies how your hexes behave. It can change the range, targeting, or other properties of a spell. To use a
focus, hold it in your offhand while casting, or combine it with your staff. Different
focuses may be required for certain advanced hexes. Experiment with different
focuses to see how they alter your spells.
Practical Tips
Keep a variety of pigments in your inventory so you can color-code your hexes for different purposes. For example, use red for offensive spells and blue for utility.
Focuses are often required for complex hexes, so collect them as you explore. You can find
focuses in dungeon loot or craft them from
Amethyst Dust and other materials. Always check the requirements of a hex before casting to ensure you have the right
focus equipped.
