How do I get dragon scales to start?
Defeat the Ender Dragon in the End dimension. When it dies, dragon scales will drop on the ground for you to collect. You need these scales to craft all the special gear from this mod.
What's the difference between dragon armor and regular netherite?
Dragon armor is much stronger and has special perks: it prevents Endermen, Phantoms, and Piglins from attacking you. The gear also deals more damage than standard tools and weapons, and the winged chestplate lets you glide through the air.
How do I enable the advanced gear perks?
Open the file `config/dragonloot-common.toml` and set `advanced_netherite_gear_perks_enabled = true`, then save and restart your game. This unlocks the special abilities of the dragon gear.
Can I repair my dragon gear if it breaks?
Yes, use the Dragon Anvil to repair or upgrade your dragon equipment. This special anvil never breaks, has no level limit, and the cost to use it caps at 30 experience levels.
How do I use the winged chestplate to fly?
Equip the winged chestplate and jump while in the air to activate gliding. You'll descend slowly and can move horizontally, similar to elytra flight.
Do I need to craft the Dragon Anvil or does it spawn somewhere?
You craft the Dragon Anvil using dragon scales. Check your crafting guide or the mod's wiki for the exact recipe.
Will this mod work with other mods that add boss loot?
Yes, this mod only affects Ender Dragon drops and doesn't conflict with other boss mods. However, if another mod also changes Ender Dragon loot, you may need to configure which one takes priority.
Can I turn off the mob immunity perk if I don't want it?
The mob immunity is part of the advanced gear perks feature. You can disable all advanced perks by setting `advanced_netherite_gear_perks_enabled = false` in the config file.
What happens if I die while wearing dragon armor?
Your dragon armor drops like any other item when you die. Pick it up before it despawns, or use the Dragon Anvil to repair it if it takes damage from the fall.
Can I make a full set of dragon gear from one Ender Dragon kill?
That depends on how many scales the dragon drops and how many scales each recipe requires. You may need to defeat the dragon multiple times to gather enough scales for a complete set of armor, weapons, and tools.
