How do I make my first skewer?
Place a wooden stick in your off-hand, hold a raw food ingredient in your main hand, and right-click to thread it onto the stick. You can add up to three ingredients this way to create a raw skewer.
What do I need to cook skewers on a grill?
Place a charcoal grill on the ground, light it with flint and steel, then place your raw skewers on top. You'll need to brush them with oil, flip them four times, and add seasoning before they're done cooking.
How do I make custom seasoning blends?
Use the seasoning bottle station to mix three base spices and extra ingredients together into a handheld shaker. Shake it for four seconds to activate the blend, which gives you multiple uses of custom spice that adds potion buffs to hot food.
Can I disassemble a skewer after I make it?
Yes, sneak and right-click any raw skewer to break it apart and return the stick and all ingredients to your inventory. This only works on raw skewers, not cooked ones.
What happens if I don't flip my skewers enough times?

The mod includes nineteen fixed skewer recipes with specific ingredients, but you can also create secret skewers by combining up to three different edible ingredients—the game calculates their food stats and matches colors automatically.
What are recipe scrolls and how do I use them?
Recipe scrolls automatically craft skewers from ingredients already in your inventory when you right-click them while holding a stick, letting you quickly assemble multiple skewers without manual threading.
