What does the Configurable Mob Potion Effects Mod do?
It lets you assign custom potion effects to any mob, either permanently or when they deal damage. The mod does nothing until you configure it.
What are the two config files used by the mod?
permanenteffects.txt assigns permanent effects to mobs, and ondamageeffects.txt defines effects mobs apply when damaging others. Both live in ./config/configurablemobpotioneffects/.
How do I apply config changes without restarting the game?
Use the /cmpe reload command. It applies your changes on the fly.
What do the config files contain when they first generate?
They auto-generate with all available entities and effects set to level 0 by default. That means no effects are active until you change the values.
