Build a Nether portal as usual and enter the dimension. You'll immediately notice the new biomes and vertical terrain stacking. Start by gathering basic Nether plants and materials near your spawn, then venture deeper to find Nether Cities and dungeons.

What's the best way to find a Nether City?

Nether Cities are rare structures hidden throughout the dimension, so exploration is key. Look for them at various heights since the mod uses vertical biome generation—check both high floating islands and lower cavern areas. Bring good armor and weapons since they contain dangerous mobs.

How do I get Fireruby gear early on?

You must defeat the Warden to obtain Fireruby materials, as the Sculk Catalyst no longer appears in chest loot. This means you'll need to prepare for a difficult fight before you can craft Fireruby tools and armor.

Can I farm Nether plants like I do in the Overworld?

Yes, you can set up plant farms in the Nether using the new crops and plants the mod adds. Build your farm in a safe area away from mobs, and use bonemeal or natural growth to speed up harvesting.
