How do I enable automatic sorting when I first load the mod?
The mod automatically sorts your resource packs the first time you open the resource pack menu after installation—no configuration needed. If sorting doesn't appear, try closing and reopening the resource pack menu.
Why are some of my resource packs grouped separately from others?
The mod distinguishes between built-in packs (included with Minecraft), vanilla packs (official Minecraft content), and manually installed packs (ones you added yourself). Each group appears in its own section for easier management.
Can I manually reorder packs within their categories?
Yes, you can still drag and drop resource packs to reorder them within their category groups, just like in vanilla Minecraft. The mod organizes them into categories but doesn't lock their order.
What happens if two resource packs have the same name?
The mod will display both packs but keep them in their respective categories (built-in vs. manually installed). If they conflict, the one higher in your active list will take priority.
