Frequently asked questions

How do I start the data pack?
Load the data pack into your world, then run `/reload` in the chat to activate it. Chunks will begin deleting every 10 seconds by default once the data pack is loaded.
Can I change how often chunks get deleted?
Yes, use the command `/scoreboard players set $Cooldown rand_del_chunks ` where you replace ` ` with your desired interval (for example, 400 ticks = 20 seconds between deletions).
Is there a way to know which chunk will be deleted next?
The deletion is random, so you cannot predict the exact chunk. However, you can prepare by building in multiple locations and keeping important structures spread out across different chunks.
What happens to my items and mobs when a chunk deletes?
Anything in the deleted chunk—items, mobs, blocks, and structures—is permanently removed from the world. There is no recovery, so avoid storing valuables in single chunks.
