Overview

Inmis is a storage mod built around one idea: a chest you can carry. It adds nine backpack tiers plus an ender pouch, all crafted from ordinary materials and upgraded step by step.

A backpack is opened by right-clicking it in your hand, or with a key bind, and it can be worn in the chest armour slot so it sits on your character's back while still being openable. Upgrading a backpack never destroys what is inside — the contents move to the new tier — and every backpack keeps its items across world reloads.

Nothing about the mod is hidden behind progression gates: the smallest tier costs a few pieces of leather, and each step up simply asks for a better material.
