Grappling Hooks

The mod features several tiers of grappling hooks, each with unique properties. Since version V11, many of these functions can be merged into a single 'Custom Grappling Hook' using the Modifier system.

Standard Grappling Hook

The base tool for all traversal. It allows for classic swinging and manual climbing.

• Behavior: Attaches to any solid block. Conserves momentum for swinging
• Climbing: Hold Shift + W to pull yourself up the rope or Shift + S to rappel down

Motorized Grappling Hook

Equipped with a mechanical winch to provide vertical and horizontal thrust.

• Behavior: Automatically pulls the player toward the hook point upon attachment
• Usage: Ideal for rapid vertical ascent and maintaining speed across flat terrain

Magnetic Grappling Hook

Designed for advanced maneuverability, allowing the player to 'stick' and repel with magnetic force.

• Behavior: Can repel the player from surfaces to maintain a specific distance, effectively allowing for 'Spider-Man' style swinging where the player never hits the ground

Ender Staff & Ender Hook

Utilizes ender pearl technology for instantaneous or high-velocity movement.

• Ender Staff: Launches the player in the direction they are facing when right-clicked. Does not use a rope
• Ender Grappling Hook: Combines the staff's propulsion with a hook. Left-clicking while hooked provides a massive speed boost
