Using the Ender Grappling Hook and Ender Staff

Ender Grappling Hook

The Ender Grappling Hook is a distinct hook variant tied to ender-themed movement. Craft it and use it the same way as a normal hook: aim, fire, and pull. It pairs naturally with the Ender Staff.

Ender Staff and Its Upgrade

The Ender Staff is a separate tool. Apply the Ender Staff Grappling Hook Upgrade to link grappling behavior to the staff, letting you use the staff as a grappling platform rather than carrying a separate hook.

Magnetic and Forcefield Options

Two more variants expand movement control:

• Magnetic Grappling Hook — a hook with magnetic behavior.
• Magnetic Forcefield — a forcefield tied to magnetic function.

Apply the Forcefield Grappling Hook Upgrade to a Grappling Hook to add forcefield behavior. Apply the Hook Magnet Grappling Hook Upgrade to add magnetic attraction. These can be combined with other upgrades on the same hook.

Boots for Landing and Movement

Two boot items support grappling movement:

• Long Fall Boots — protect against fall damage after a long grapple.
• Wallrunning Boots — let you run along walls.

Equip these in your boot slot. They complement the hook by covering the moments after a grapple: landing safely and continuing movement along vertical surfaces. Pair them with a motorized or rocket hook for sustained traversal.
