The Motorized Grappling Hook pulls you in under power instead of relying on momentum. Craft it once you have the Motor Grappling Hook Upgrade. The Smart Motorized Grappling Hook is the advanced version and handles the pull for you. For two powered lines at once, use the Dual Motorized Grappling Hooks, and for the rocket-assisted version, the Rocket Dual Motorized Grappling Hooks.

Rocket and Magnetic Variants

The Rocket Grappling Hook uses the Rocket Grappling Hook Upgrade to add propulsion, launching you further than a plain pull. The Magnetic Grappling Hook pairs with the Hook Magnet Grappling Hook Upgrade for stronger surface grabbing. The Magnetic Forcefield works alongside these magnetic parts.

Ender and Forcefield Options

The Ender Grappling Hook is built around the Ender Staff. Apply the Ender Staff Grappling Hook Upgrade to connect a hook to the staff. The Forcefield Grappling Hook Upgrade ties a hook to forcefield behaviour.

Boots That Pair With Hooks

Long Fall Boots remove fall damage after a long drop, which matters when a rocket pull overshoots. Wallrunning Boots let you run along walls, so you can hook onto a wall, run across it, then fire again. Wear the boots, keep the hook in your hotbar, and alternate between the two to keep moving.
